Respected director, professors, teachers and students! 

　　早上好 

　　It’s indeed a great honor for me to be here with all of you as a representative of international students. My name is Muhammad Zain Akram and I am a recent graduate of NCNST. Today I will take this opportunity to thank all the members, teachers, students and faculty on the behalf of all international students and graduates. NCNST has provided us with all kind of right opportunities for becoming the scientist and researcher that we aimed to become. It’s the right place for many international students like me who have left their countries in quest of knowledge and learning, The state of the art research facilities that help us to achieve academic excellence and develop our scientific skills. 

　　When I first came to China, I couldn’t speak any Chinese, off course, but after staying here for many years today finally I still cannot speak any Chinese. My teachers say that this is because I speak from my belly and not from my throat. Now there are some things that we cannot change. Right? (Chuckles) 

　　But on a serious note, in all these years, I have developed serious bonding with the country of China, its culture and particularly its food. During my PhD, I got a chance to work in United States of America for some time but I kept missing Chinese food there more than anything, and of course, my electric bike. There are many things that we enjoyed during our stay in Beijing and will definitely miss all of that. Now that we are graduated and many of us will leave China and go back to our countries or different place in the world, the knowledge and experience that we got at NCNST will remain with us and will help us in achieving excellence in our research career. I am sure that like me, the experience to study at NCNST would be very memorable for all of you and I wish you all get success in your future goals.
