NANO TRIP·CHINA —International Summer Camp

Want to do something different this summer? This summer camp is a great opportunity for you to learn more about a different culture and a different people and exchange your research and academic experience with students from various countries. We have arranged colorful programs for this summer camp and will pay for your traveling expenses with accommodation provided. We sincerely welcome foreign students with different subject backgrounds and hope you have fun here in Beijing, China.

  ● About us:

National Center for Nanoscience and Technology, China (NCNST) was co-founded in 2003 by the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and the Ministry of Education (MOE), under the support of seven ministries and commissions. Our main research areas consist of biomedical effects of nanomaterials and nanosafety, nanostandardization and nanomeasurements, and nanosystems and hierarchical fabrication. NCNST currently has three CAS key laboratories and 19 laboratories co-founded by NCNST, Peking University, Tsinghua University, and the Chinese Academy of Sciences. For more than ten years, we have strived to make NCNST a world-leading research center in nanoscience, a public technology platform, a center for nanotechnology education, and a bridge for international academic collaboration. Statistics revealed that 61.3% of papers published by NCNST could be regarded as high profile publications, consequently ranking our institute at the first place among all scientific institutions and universities in China.

  ● Theme:

The theme of this summer camp is to realize the mutual progress of different fields from different countries. Nanoscience and technology, as an emerging science and technology frontier, integrates the essence of many academic fields: physics, chemistry, biology, medicine, materials and business. This summer camp is aimed at promoting together the academic progress and exploring the potential of Nanoscience and technology through interdisciplinary exchanges.

  ● Activities include:

Academic exchange of different fields and the potential of nano-technology

Chinese culture experience by visiting historic places in Beijing

Carrying out cultural exchanges in party with students from different countries
